Brooklyn_Haley__3-e1376683355466I think we should maybe stop a minute and take a little look into this cute pop song from Texan teen super cutie Brooklyn Haley, as Brooklyn’s new release “Close To Where You Are” is a glossy upbeat melody driven burst of sunshine with a dance pop spring in its step. No wondering why really, as I inform you that it’s produced by a guy named Kizzo, who’s behind the club stomping force DJ Afrojack.

That’s just one bulletin point of information in a series of many that go on to illuminate that Brooklyn’s pop career is moving in prestigious circles. Another prominent point of note regarding the emerging pop cutie is that she’s working with Eddie Galan on her forthcoming album (the producer most notable for his work the ‘High School Music Soundtrack’)

Now that’s filled you in with the character of this track, time to jump into the myths and fairytales inspired video showing Brooklyn searching for her Prince Charming.

Wonder how many frogs Brooklyn will kiss until she finds him?

What is your song Crash about?

The song is about taking chances, and breaking out of your shell.

Where there any embarrassing moments when you were filming your first music video for Crash?

No but there definitely were painful moments. Running in heels… not fun.

Who would you most like to collaborate on a song with?

I have a lot I would love to work with. Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, or Nicki Minaj

What can you tell us about your song “Record and Rock”?

That was the 2nd song I ever recorded. When I wrote it I was looking for more of a fun song since the song before was a ballad.

Can you tell us when your first album will be released?

I have no idea yet but I’m hoping this year

What is the hardest part about working in the studio and going to school?

Trying to make time for both. Being able to get work done and stay caught up in school.

Are there any celebs out there that you are dying to meet?

Yes there are 5. I would probably die if I met Katy Perry, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Drake, or Lady Gaga. My life would be complete if I met them.

Are there any movies you are looking forward to seeing?

Honestly I don’t know what movies are out yet or that are coming out, the only one I know of is “gone” That’s one that looks really interesting to me.
